My name is Lori Anderson. This will be my 10th year teaching. I taught 2nd grade at Isle School from 2011-2016, then from 2016-2019 I taught 1st grade at McGregor School. From 2019-2020 I taught ADSIS and 5th/6th grade reading at Willow River School.
I live in Moose Lake with my husband Gary. My husband is a Nurse Practitioner and works for Gateway Clinic of Sandstone. We have two grown children--a son Tyler and a daughter Taylor. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, running, gardening, spending time with my family, visiting book stores, and reading--lots and lots of reading!! My husband and I also have one cat named Jr.
My son lives in Moose Lake. He is a registered nurse and works at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth. He and his significant other Liz like to hunt and fish together. My son also competes in triathlons and ironman competitions. I try to get to as many of his competitions as possible. He has a small farm with several pigs, goats, ducks, and chickens.
My daughter lives in Grand Rapids with her husband Danny. She just graduated from The College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth with her doctorate in nursing practices and will be working for Gateway Clinic as a Nurse Practitioner.
My husband and I are quite proud of our children's accomplishments.
